Welcome to the RFA Inquiries Website

The RFA Inquiries Web Site is a vehicle for potential applicants or other persons to anonymously (1) ask technical and procedural questions about the RFA, (2) make comments requesting modifications to the RFA, or (3) report RFA errors or omissions.

Applicants or other persons are encouraged to voice any questions or requests for clarification to this site. Be advised that this site is a mechanism for answering only good faith inquiries about the RFA. It is not a forum for posting opinions or comments about AGIA generally, or any other matter. Persons wishing to communicate non-RFA related matters to the state are encouraged to do so via posting their comments or opinions to the “comments” section of the governor’s AGIA Web site, which can be found at http://www.gov.state.ak.us/agia/agia_comments.php. The state reserves the right not to post to the RFA Inquiries Web Site any communication deemed not to constitute a good faith inquiry about the RFA itself and the RFA process.

Applicants or other persons also may post comments to this site requesting modifications to the RFA. Comments requesting modifications to the RFA must be submitted to this RFA Inquiries Web site and will be accepted until July 23, 2007.

An applicant or other person who wishes to report a perceived technical omission, error, or ambiguity in the terms or requirements of the RFA are encouraged to do so. However, such persons must post notice of the omission, error, or ambiguity on the RFA Inquiries Web site no later than thirty (30) days before the Application Deadline, which is identified in the RFA. The notice must identify the specific section containing the purported omission or error and the reporter may supply language that it believes would correct the problem.

The commissioners of Natural Resources and Revenue, in their sole discretion, will determine whether a posted comment, or an identified omission, error or ambiguity, requires an addendum to the RFA.

This Web site is secure and inquires will be posted anonymously. The identity of the person or company submitting the question will not be tracked on the Web site. Subject to the limitation below regarding inappropriate questions, all questions posted, and the state’s responses, will be available for viewing by the public.

The state team answering the questions will not know who asked those questions. The Web site will be hosted by an independent Internet service provider, who will not release any IP addresses to anybody, including the state.

The state will endeavor to answer inquiries as promptly and expeditiously as possible. The state is not responsible for an applicant’s failure to post inquiries, or an applicant’s misinterpretation of a response to an inquiry.
